NEKED Food Isn’t Closed — It’s Just Getting Dressed for Its Next Act

If you’ve seen a “Permanently Closed” sign pop up for NEKED Food on Google Maps — don’t panic. You haven’t hallucinated. That part is true. The restaurant — my five-star, award-winning, soul-sparking vegan eatery in Clarens — officially closed in December.

But the brand? The flame? The flavours? Oh honey, they’re just getting warmed up.

Let’s Clear This Up First

NEKED Food was the vegan restaurant.NEKED (without the “Food”) is the cannabis café.Two separate children. Both adored. One now semi-retired. The other still high on life and lighting up Clarens.

So why are you still seeing posts about NEKED Food on social media? Because this story isn’t over. Not even close.

Here’s What’s Cooking Now at NEKED Food:

1. Cookbooks Incoming: The Trilogy You Didn’t Know You Needed

After hundreds of handwritten recipes, taste tests, and moments of culinary genius (plus a few burnt pans and mild swearing), I’m proud to announce the upcoming release of not one, but three limited-edition NEKED Food cookbooks:

  • The Basics – your pantry’s new best friend

  • Comfort Food – the warm hug you never knew you needed

  • Gourmet – the showstopper, Michelin star–worthy magic

All 100% vegan. All infused with my signature sass, wit, and cheek. All launching very soon.

2. The NEKED Food Table — Lights, Camera, Vegan Glamour

We’ve wrapped filming on the pilot of my brand-new cooking show: The NEKED Food Table.

Think:

📍 Lavish locations

👗 Glamorous dinner parties

🎥 Celebrity guests with zero clue they’re being served a fully plant-based feast

🔥 Cooking tips, interactive courses, and a wicked voice-over twist

The reviews so far? “Deliciously deceptive” and “absolutely fabulous.” The guests had no idea it was vegan until the final reveal — and let’s just say jaws dropped along with sugar-glazed spoons.

3. YouTube Channel Coming Soon — No Apron Required

Because darling, some of us were born to be in front of the camera — with a spatula in one hand and a wine glass in the other. The NEKED Food YouTube channel is launching soon with cheeky content, elevated recipes, and behind-the-scenes brilliance.

You’ll get:

  • Quick and dirty (but still fabulous) recipes

  • Elegant dinner party tips

  • The occasional dog cameo

  • And me, being completely unapologetic about flavour, fun, and being NEKED (Food, not nude. Settle down.)

4. So… Why Is the Website Still Up?

Because we’re still building. NEKED Food is evolving from restaurant to revolution — with a digital cookbook shop, subscriber giveaways, show announcements, and exclusive online content. And trust me, you’ll want to be part of what’s coming next.

5. You Can Get Involved Too

Help me choose the final dishes for the Gourmet Edition!Just vote for your favourites from a selection of 150 delectable, decadent, vegan masterpieces — and you’ll be entered into a draw to win a signed, limited-edition copy of the cookbook. Yes, collector’s item darling. We don’t do ordinary here.

In Summary, Beautiful Humans…

NEKED Food was never just a restaurant. It’s a movement. A cheeky little nudge toward something kinder, greener, and far more fabulous.

The restaurant has closed, yes. But the heart, the flavour, and the fire of NEKED Food live on.In the books. In the show. On the screen. In your kitchen.

So stay connected, stay curious, and most importantly — stay NEKED (Food).
